Merry Noel Ayienga- AmazingTeam Member

Merry Noel Ayienga, Senior Manager and Legal Advisor

Noel is the senior manager and legal advisor at Timothy’s House Orphanages in Busia, Kenya. As one of our amazing team members, her roles include: providing legal guidance to the Organization; structuring solutions for disputes; providing support in legal issues; and reviewing legal materials and contracts. She also oversees the effective running of all the projects of the Organization and represents the Organization in general meetings and academic days at schools where the sponsored children attend.

Noel has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Kabarak University; and through the online education offered by Humanitarian Leadership Academy. She has acquired two certificates; one in Introduction to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and another in Excel-2019 Computer studies.

Noel has been in the field of child care and protection for close to six years, working with children between the ages of three and seventeen years. She first began as a Sunday school teacher, volunteering under Scripture Union of Kenya. She has also volunteered with Wakili wa Watoto Club based in Nakuru, Kenya where she offered legal services to children who are in conflict with the law. Working with children, she says, is a passion and a lifelong dream for her.

Veronicah Walumbe - Amazing Team Member

Veronicah Namulunda Walumbe, Manager and Social Worker

Veronicah is a social worker. She has over 4 years’ experience working with children, families and individuals as an agent of support and guidance. Her professional life includes a commitment to serving the needs of children and families as a social worker.

Veronicah graduated from the University of Nairobi in Kenya with a degree in Social Work. She has a diploma in sociology and conflict management. Veronica has also earned a certificate in HIV Testing and Counselling.

Veronicah is currently part of our amazing team and works with Timothy’s House Orphanages in Busia, Kenya as a manager and social worker. Some of her roles include drafting monthly budgets for the organization and providing detailed monthly expenditures of the organization. She takes care of the recruitment of new children into the project. Her background enables to be an extremely effective social worker who is comfortable counselling diverse groups of people.
